LAKELAND, Fla. – The #22 Nova Southeastern University Men's Golf team finished the Matlock Classic in third place (+5/366/360/376).
Ivan Ponsdomenech (-1) placed inside the top-10 individually and
Bruno Marques (E) finished in 12th place.

- Ivan Ponsdomenech (-1/68/71/76) began his first round by tallying a birdie on three of the first five holes, Ponsdomenech then shott bogey free after the sixth hole and added a pair of birdies. In round two Ponsdomenech totaled two birdies and six pars on the front nine, after the turn he added a birdie and seven pars to close the round. In the final round Ponsdomenech finished with two birdies and 10 pars, completing the tournament in ninth place individually at one-under.
- Bruno Marques (E/73/70/73) started the tournament in great form, shooting bogey free through the front nine with a birdie. Marques hit the turn and added another birdie and six pars to his round total. In round two Marques added a pair of birdies and four pars through the front nine, after hitting the turn Marques found his stride, totaling four birdies and four pars to finish the round. In the final round Marques shot three birdies and 11 pars, finishing the tournament shooting even.
- Jorge Berea (+4/74/76/70) opened his tournament by totaling three birdies and 10 pars in the first round. In his second round Berea added five pars through the front nine, grabbing plenty of momentum through the back nine Berea shot bogey free with two birdies to complete the round. In what was his best round, Berea collected two eagles, two birdies, and 10 pars during the third round. Berea finished the tournament four-over.
- Rodrigo Huerta (+9/73/73/79) began round one with six consecutive holes shooting par or better with three birdies, adding seven pars to his total on the back nine. In round two Herta collected three birdies and 11 pars. In his third round Huerta tallied three birdies and six pars, as he finished the tournament nine-over.
- Elias Mardeni (+10/78/70/78) opened his first round by totaling four birdies and eight pars. In the second round Mardeni shot three birdies and four pars through the front nine, during the back nine Mardeni found a rhythm by adding two birdies and six pars to close the round. In his final round Mardeni totaled three birdies and 10 pars, finishing the tournament 10-over.
